Choosing Your Profile

Select a profile that matches your beer shopping style:

  • First Dibs
    Shows the newest offerings first. Be the first to try newly available beers!
  • The Cheapest Stuff
    Maximum focus on price. Find the absolute lowest prices.
  • Great Deals
    Heavily prioritizes price while considering quality.
  • Balanced Drinker
    Gives more weight to price while still considering quality.
  • Salaryman Connoisseur (Default)
    Balances price and quality. The sweet spot for everyday drinking.
  • High Class
    Prioritizes quality over price for a premium experience.
  • I Spare No Expense
    Rating is everything. When only the absolute best will do.

Using Filters

Narrow down your search to find exactly what you're looking for:

Search

Type any part of a beer or brewery name. Works with both English and Japanese.

Examples: "IPA", "Yoho", "よなよな"

Beer Styles

Select multiple styles to see only those types. The number shows how many beers match.

Example: IPA, Stout, Pilsner

Countries

Filter by brewery country. Great for exploring international beers or staying local.

Popular: Japan, United States, Belgium

Price Range

Set minimum and maximum total price per can/bottle.

Example: ¥400 min, ¥800 max
Pro Tip: Combine multiple filters to find exactly what you're looking for.

Understanding Offerings

Price Display

Each beer shows:

  • Price per ml: The best way to compare value across different can/bottle sizes
  • Total price: What you'll actually pay
  • Volume: Can/bottle size in ml
  • Shop name: Where to buy it

Multiple Shops

We show the cheapest shop first. Click "View more shops" to see all available options. Sometimes paying a bit more at a shop you're already ordering from saves on shipping!

  • Shop offering: Click to go directly to the product page on the shop's website
Pro Tip: Check multiple shops before ordering. Some shops offer free shipping above certain amounts.

Infinite Scroll

No need to click "Next Page"! As you scroll down, we automatically load more beers. Each batch loads 60 beers at a time. The loading happens seamlessly in the background.

Pro Tip: Use filters to reduce the total number of results for faster browsing.

Untappd Integration

Log in with your Untappd account to:

  • See your personal beer ratings on each beer card
  • Exclude beers you've already tried from results (optional filter)

All beer ratings and information come from Untappd's community of beer enthusiasts. The ratings help you identify quality beers you haven't tried yet.

Supported Shops

We currently track prices from multiple online beer shops in Japan, updated regularly. Visit the Shops page to see the full list and last update times.

Note: Prices exclude shipping costs, which vary by shop and order size.

FAQ

How often are prices updated?

Prices are typically updated daily. Check the shop's "last updated" time on the Shops page.

Why don't I see a beer I know exists?

We only show beers currently available in at least one tracked shop. Out-of-stock items are hidden.

What does the rating number mean?

It's the average Untappd rating (0-5 scale) from users worldwide. Generally, 3.5+ is good, 4.0+ is excellent.

Can I suggest a new shop to track?

Yes! Open an issue on our GitHub page.
